Although working out and enjoying a balanced diet is a great lifestyle choice we all know that day after day gym sessions can become more of a chore rather than something we are doing to make ourselves feel vibrant and healthy. Unfortunately even the most determined of us will tire up after some few days and/or weeks of the same routine and who wouldn't? It only gets worse in winter having to roll out of your warm bed to venture out into the cold world of exercise. Here at Fat Burners only we have decided to put the fun back in fitness during these winter months with a few tips and tricks to make YOUR workouts more exciting!

Hula Hoops: Ever been told that hula hooping burns up calories in 60minutes? Well it’s true! It may be difficult to do hula hooping at first but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy enough to do in your room (where it’s still warm) A hula hoop is a toy which is twirled around the waist, limb, or neck. It can also assist in losing weight. Whereby if you are starting to use it, you should use a weighted hoop because it is a lot easier to use than a lighter one. The lighter one requires more effort to rotate and it will therefore help in burn more calories. Just switch on some music and you are good to go.

Boxing: Wendy Larkin, a personal training manager at Crundy’s Polk street gym in San Francisco said that any exercise that helps in getting your heart rate rise will burn calories. Always try to consider cardio boxing, if you do this for thirty minutes this will help you burn out about 300 calories and this will really help in weight loss as well as getting you to break a sweat keeping you nice and toasty even in the coldest of gyms.

Dancing: Dancing can really help in weight loss and in fat burning. You can call up mates and do dancing together in a group dance or try out zumba. If you are really shy of people seeing you dance you can make this happen in your house as there are many instructional videos on how to lose weight through dace, as well as programs on many popular game consoles!

Trekking: Trekking helps in burning approximately 6 calories, so always try to walk at least 1km a day to and always try to walk a little distance further the next day (something interesting to do on your lunch break on your way to work). Always try and use the staircase in place of an elevator. If you do this will help in weight loss and therefore bring you back to what weight you want

Swimming: This is a cardiovascular exercise. Always try to swim for its much fun and it helps in burning calories and helps weight loss. With every second pool being heated you won't have to worry about winter chills and there are plenty of clubs who get together in the morning to swim that you can join.

Update your Beats: Having a great playlist or even the process of creating a great playlist to listen to whilst you are working out is a great way to keep you motivated for your next workout! Making sure you choose music with a similar beat to each other will ensure that you keep up the same pace throughout the entirety of your workout!

Grab a partner: It doesn't matter if your mother, father, brother, sister, bestie or neighbour find a partner to get your workouts done with! Doing this will keep you motivated and will also stop you from slacking off during working out! Make sure your person is as motivated as you are though.

Track Your Progress: You can track your progress in many ways including but not limited to your measurements, your times in workouts such as cardio circuits, runs or bike rides to see how much longer you can push yourself each time of how many reps you are able to accomplish in the time. There are many apps out there that also allow you to track your distance on bike rides, walks and/or runs so you can literally see what you have accomplished that day!

Do Some Thorough House Chores Once a Week: Now we know this may not be the most exciting 'workout' as such but it will certainly excite you to know the benefits. Doing chores such as wash the house floor, window panes or the shower stall will really help in burning calories! An 80kg human will lose 3.5 calories for every minute they spend doing the cleaning! Another workout you don't even have to leave the warmth of your home to do.
